American Ninja Warriors, Addy Herman & Matt Bradley, visited our studio and took a class with our very own Matthew! Addy Herman started competing in American Ninja Warrior Junior competitions (2 seasons), and has competed in three seasons of ANW (13-15), and a Women's Championship. Let the wood kiln firing process begin! The first step of the process is to strategically place each piece of bisque ware into the kiln. Each piece requires special clay wadding on the bottom. This wadding acts as a buffer to make sure that the pieces don't stick to the kiln shelf during the lengthy firing process. Our team is hard at work loading all day today! This free event will be held at the studio located at 393 Locust Street, in Denver, PA. This is a yearly event focusing on community, connection, and a chance for small local businesses to increase their exposure and for the community to get to know their local pottery studio. We are expecting a large turnout, and will be offering free chicken BBQ meals, free pottery classes, our very own pottery pieces for sale, and live music. Our pottery studio is located inside the very first established barn in Denver in the 1800s. Today, we strive to create a positive and uplifting environment in the studio that brings our local community together. In our studio, we have 12 wheels, 3 kilns, many beautiful pottery pieces, and a lot of fun!
