Valentine's Pottery Class 

Take your valentine on a fun and unique pottery date. We are offering 3 special two-hour classes on Saturday, February 10th at 10:00, 2:00 and 6:30. You’ll learn how to throw pottery and create two pieces of your very own. Learning a new skill, having fun, and encouraging each other throughout the process is a great way to make long-lasting memories together. After you throw your pieces, you just choose your glaze, and we'll take care of the firings for you. In a few weeks, you’ll have finished pieces you’ll be able to cherish together for years to come. Since this is a Valentine’s themed class, we’ll also be providing special desserts to all class participants. 

This two hour class will allow you to try out pottery without a multi-week commitment. However, if you love it, we do have a lot of couples that return for our 6-week sessions together. You’ll have so much fun during the class, you may want to keep learning. 

What to expect: 

● Once you arrive, you’ll get settled into a wheel. We have aprons available for you to use, but we do recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting clay on. 

● A knowledgeable studio teacher will walk you through how to throw a simple bowl step-by-step with a demonstration 

● Then it will be your turn to create your own bowl, with experts to help, if needed 

● After all that work, a well deserved dessert break is earned! 

● You’ll jump back on the wheel and create a second piece of your choosing – bowl, mug, plate, planter 

● Finally, you’ll choose your glaze colors for your pieces, and we’ll do the rest of the work! 

In a few weeks, we’ll let you know that your pottery is ready, and you can pick up your finished pieces.

Our cost of $150 is per couple, and includes clay, glaze colors, and all firings.
