Frequently Asked Questions

1.) What do I need to bring to class?
You don’t need to bring anything along for your class, however, you may want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. You might get some clay on you, but it will wash out.

2.) Can I bring my own beer?
Unfortunately, at this time, we are not allowed to bring beer into the building.

3.) Does Inspire Pottery sell clay?
Yes, we sell most Standard clay bodies.

4.) Can I use the studio to just fire my pieces I made at home?
Yes, prices vary depending on the size of your pot. If you want to fire a whole kiln load, the cost would be $75.

5.) When will my one time class pottery be finished?

We will text you when your pieces are finished. It usually takes about 4 weeks. A customer must pick up their pottery (whether it be from a one-time class, date night, or themed class) within 2 months of Inspire Pottery Studio contacting the customer that it is finished and ready to be picked up. If the pottery is not picked up after 2 months, it will be donated or thrown out.

6.) What time can studio members come?
Anytime between 8AM and 11PM; 7 days a week.

7.) Where does Inspire Pottery sell their pottery?
We sell our pottery in the studio at 393 Locust St. Denver PA 17517 and at shows throughout PA.

8.) Can I bring food for my Pottery party held at the studio?
Yes. You can bring any food or non-alcoholic drinks that you like. We will NOT provide plates or cups for that time. If you need help with catering, ask Joel or Rachel for assistance.

9.) What is your refund policy?
Refund Policy

Refunds

A full refund is described as the full price that the customer paid minus transaction fees ($10).

Full refunds will be given to anyone whose reasons fall under our cancellation, no show, and refund policies.

Cancellation

If you find it necessary to cancel your booking, whether it be a one-time class or a 6-week class, please do so by contacting us at (717) 406-6390. Cancellations made 12 hours prior to the class start time will be refunded in full, with the exception of transaction fees. Customers who cancel less than 12 hours prior to the class start time will not be refunded.

No Show

A no call, no show is an absence from the class without notifying your instructor or the owner.

  One-time Class:

  • Refunds will not be allowed for anyone registered for a class and does not show or attend without notifying the instructor or owner. If you need to cancel or reschedule a class, please refer to our cancellation policy.

  6-week Class:

  • Refunds will not be allowed for any student who does not show or attend class for 2 consecutive weeks, without notifying the instructor or owner. Inspire Pottery Studio has the right to clear the students’ shelf, and donate their clay back to the studio.
